Casavecchia Farmhouse
Casavecchia Agriturismo is an ancient stone farmhouse from the 1600s, likely once belonging to the Benedictine Order, now fully restored. It overlooks the lush Arno Valley, set on a typical Tuscan terrace, and is surrounded by cool woodlands teeming with wildlife often spotted during hikes or leisurely walks.
The area is steeped in history and blessed with unique, unspoiled landscapes. Located in the heart of Tuscany, at the foot of Pratomagno (the mountain that separates the Valdarno from the Casentino), Casavecchia offers breathtaking views over the Borro estate and the opportunity to enjoy a peaceful holiday immersed in nature. Despite the tranquility, we are just a short drive from the beautiful cities of Arezzo, Siena, and Florence.
From Lake Trasimeno to Mount Amiata and the rolling Chianti hills, the panoramic view is truly unforgettable. Our hospitality: three comfortable apartments in authentic Tuscan style
Casavecchia Agriturismo is divided into three comfortable and tastefully furnished apartments. Each apartment has its own private garden area equipped with a gazebo, table, and chairs for outdoor dining. Guests also have access to a barbecue, a wood-fired oven, children’s play equipment, satellite TV, and a swimming pool (5x10 m, depth 1.20 m) built on a natural terrace overlooking the scenic Arno Valley.
A laundry area is available, complete with two washing machines, an iron, and an ironing board.
The area surrounding the farmhouse is ideal for nature walks, where you may encounter local wildlife such as roe deer and fallow deer.
By renting all three apartments for groups of up to 20 people you can enjoy the privacy and independence of an entire house. The Albanella apartment is fully equipped to host group meals and gatherings.

Each apartment has a private space for eating with gazebo, table and chairs, barbecue, wood oven, children's games, satellite TV and panoramic swimming pool (5x10 m, depth 1.20 m). Also available to guests is a laundry room with two washing machines and an iron and ironing board.
Panoramic swimming pool
The Casavecchia farmhouse has a splendid swimming pool in a panoramic position, with a large solarium equipped with umbrellas, deck chairs and an outdoor shower. Surrounded by olive trees and medicinal plants, it will be the perfect place to relax and cool off. The swimming pool is open from May to October.
Gazebo
In the garden surrounding the cottage, our guests can enjoy beautiful gazebos reserved for each apartment, equipped with table and chairs, where they can eat in complete privacy and immerse themselves in uncontaminated nature.
Panoramic Garden and Organic Vegetable Garden
Casavecchia Farmhouse is surrounded by a large garden with children's playground. You can also use our family garden near the cottage, where you will find organic vegetables.
Barbecue and wood oven
To make your holiday even more special, our guests can use the wood-fired oven, where you can cook pizzas, bread, meat and typical Tuscan desserts. It is also possible to organize outdoor barbecues, thanks to the practical barbecue located next to the oven.
Tuscan cuisine
Tuscan cuisine is simple and traditional. Unsalted bread is the protagonist, also used in many soups. White meats, game, cured meats, pecorino cheese and typical sweets such as panforte are common.
Environment and Nature
Agriturismo Casavecchia, immersed in the woods of the Tuscan Apennines, is perfect for those who love nature. Paths among chestnut trees, oaks and pastures host a rich fauna: wolves, ungulates, rodents, birds, birds of prey, reptiles and amphibians.
